Who this policy covers
uAdvisor Consulting Inc. (“uAdvisor”, “we” or “us”) provides personal insurance guidance for families in British Columbia. This policy covers our website, consultation inquiries and optional educational emails. A later insurance application may require separate insurer notices, authorizations and secure document collection.
What you may share with us
When you book through Google Calendar, you provide your first and last name, email address, selected appointment and, optionally, phone number. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include. Optional educational email subscriptions are not currently offered on this website.
Please keep medical history, policy numbers, government identification and banking details out of introductory forms. We will arrange an appropriate channel if a later review requires sensitive records. The website is intended for adults; please do not submit a child’s personal information through these forms.
How we use information
We use inquiry details to respond, arrange your call, send appointment messages and follow up on the service you requested. If you separately subscribe, we use your email to send the educational series you selected. Source and campaign identifiers can help us understand which inquiries lead to useful conversations. We do not need medical or financial records for this measurement.
Your permission and email choices
We explain the purpose when asking for information and seek consent where required. Booking a call does not automatically subscribe you to promotional emails. An optional email series requires a separate choice; you can unsubscribe through its emails. You may also withdraw consent for future optional uses, subject to applicable restrictions. Essential appointment messages relate to the call you requested.
Services that support the experience
Our service providers may process information needed to deliver their functions. We do not sell or rent your contact information. The following describes the website and services planned for the program:
- Website hosting
- Wix hosts our public website. Private review versions may be hosted through OpenAI Sites. Hosting and access systems may process IP addresses, browser details, request logs and sign-in information under their own applicable terms.
- Scheduling
- Booking links take you to Google Calendar. Google handles appointment availability, your required name and email address, optional phone number, booking confirmations and Google Meet details. Confirming there creates a real appointment, including when you arrive from this private preview. No Google scheduling scripts or embedded calendar are loaded on this website. Google's privacy practices apply on its booking page.
- Contact records and email
- HubSpot is planned for contact and call-status records. Brevo is planned for optional email nurture and subscription preferences. These website integrations and automated sends are not enabled.
- Advertising
- Meta ads are being prepared. No Meta advertising pixel is installed on this website. Any future advertising measurement will be explained before activation, with the appropriate choices provided.
Providers may store or process information outside British Columbia or Canada, where local laws may permit access by authorities. Before activating a service, we assess its privacy arrangements and limit the information provided for its role. A link to an external site or a meeting platform brings you under that provider’s privacy practices.
Cookies, browser storage and technical information
The hosting platform may use technology needed for security and access. Before you allow analytics, diagnostic indicators stay in the current page’s browser memory, such as article sections reached, topic selections, related-article clicks and booking-link clicks. If you allow analytics, the named interactions are sent to Google Analytics as described below. These custom indicators exclude form responses and do not establish that a call was booked. Google may use its own cookies and browser storage after you follow a booking link.
Optional Google Analytics measures page visits, article interactions and booking-link clicks on the public website after you allow analytics. Advertising personalization is off, and custom events exclude form responses. The analytics choice is stored on your browser for up to 180 days and can be changed through Analytics choices in the footer. Private review hostnames do not collect these analytics. A calendar click does not establish that an appointment was booked; confirmed Google bookings are not currently sent to Google Analytics.
You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking necessary technology can affect sign-in or scheduling. Optional tracking, if introduced, will be described alongside the available controls.
Accuracy, protection and retention
We aim to keep records relevant and accurate. We limit handling to the stated purposes and use safeguards appropriate to the information’s sensitivity. No internet service can guarantee complete security.
We retain information for the purpose it was collected and applicable legal or professional recordkeeping needs. When no longer required, it should be securely deleted or de-identified. A request to remove information may be limited by required retention; we will explain any applicable restriction.
Access, corrections and privacy concerns
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, how it has been used or disclosed, and request access or correction. We may need to verify your identity. Access can be limited where the law permits or requires, including to protect another person’s information.
Privacy responsibility: Privacy Officer, uAdvisor Consulting Inc. For privacy requests or general inquiries, contact us. Please do not email medical history, policy numbers, government identification or banking details; we will arrange an appropriate channel if needed.
We will address privacy concerns through our complaint process. You may also consult the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as applicable.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page as the program changes and revise the date above. A new purpose requiring consent will be explained separately. This notice does not replace the choices presented when information is collected.
